Meet Lisa Cintron

Independent Educational Consultant & Founder, Cintron Scholars LLC

I founded Cintron Scholars LLC in '26. My interest in becoming an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) was greatly influenced by having gone through the college application process with my daughter and my son. As a first-generation college student, I understand the importance of mentorship and would like to support students on their paths to higher education.

I graduated from Yale College ('91) and from Northwestern School of Law ('96). I was a History major in college and Managing Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review in law school. I excelled in legal writing class and clerked for a federal judge on the SDNY after law school graduation. I then spent five years working as an attorney at a law firm and ten years as a legal recruiter for law firms, financial institutions, and companies. I took a twelve-year career break to raise my two children. As a former attorney, I have excellent writing and editing skills. As a legal recruiter, I have worked with many attorneys on their resumes, business plans, and interviews. As an admitted attorney to the New York Bar Association ('97), I take honesty and integrity seriously and conduct my business in an ethical manner.

I am now an empty-nester. I live in New York City with my husband and our two dogs.
